Thermaline 4674 is a single-package, medium-to-high temperature coating that withstands continuous temperatures of 400C and peaks up to 540C.
WHERE IT'S USED
Used to protect the exterior of stacks, incinerators, furnace exteriors, heat exchangers and other elevated-temperature steel surfaces.
BUILD-UP
May be applied directly to properly prepared steel, or over inorganic zinc primers such as Carbozinc 11 to prevent rusting and rust streaking during shutdown or exposure to moisture and salts below 93C.
KEY BENEFITS
Resistant to thermal shock from ambient temperature to 400C. Excellent weathering properties. No primer required, though a Carbozinc primer coat improves performance.

Colour: black. Finish: low gloss. Dry film thickness: normally 40 microns (typically two coats over bare steel, one or two over inorganic zinc primers). Solids content by volume: 45% +/-2%. Temperature resistance: continuous 400C (752F), non-continuous 540C (1004F). Pack size: 5 litre. Limitations: not recommended for immersion service or exposure to acid/alkali splash and spillage.
