Firebreak FX300 Pipe Collars are designed to maintain the fire resistance of floors and walls penetrated by plastic pipes, and metal and plastic pipes with continuous combustible insulation.
WHERE IT'S USED
Used in flexible walls (stud partitions), rigid walls (masonry, concrete) of 100mm minimum thickness, and rigid concrete floors of 150mm minimum thickness.
BUILD-UP
One-piece wraparound design manufactured in durable stainless steel with a slide-through/fold-back tab fixing; under fire conditions the intumescent filler expands to many times its original thickness, closing the opening with a dense block of fire-resistant char.
KEY BENEFITS
Low profile (30mm or 45mm height) suits tight or difficult-access spaces; tested using uncapped pipes (U/U) covering all types of plastic pipe end uses including ventilation pipes; unlimited shelf life when stored per recommended conditions.
SPECIFICATION DATA
This listing: 160mm. Fire classification to EN 13501-2, CE marked (ETA 21/0209). Mechanical and durability testing to EAD 350454-00-1104, Type Y (suitable for temperatures below 0C). Third party certified with UL International (Certificate UL-EU-00513).
