Sika Pyroplast Wood T Clear Basecoat is an intumescent coating for internal timber and timber derivatives, protecting against flame spread while keeping the timber's natural appearance visible.
WHERE IT'S USED
Timber panelling, walls and ceilings, on softwoods, hardwoods and timber derivatives, wherever the natural wood grain needs to stay visible alongside fire protection.
BUILD-UP
Applied as two coats of clear basecoat plus one coat of protective matt topseal, with sufficient drying time between coats for the system to perform as tested.
KEY BENEFITS
- Euro Class B-s1-d0, equivalent to UK Class 0 (BS476 Parts 6 & 7)
- Tested to BS EN 13823 and BS EN 11925-2
- Euroclass certification formally accepted under UK Approved Document B
- Retains timber's natural appearance
