FS709 Intumastic HP is a graphite-based intumescent sealant that expands under fire exposure to protect cable, cable bundle and pipe penetrations.
WHERE IT'S USED
Used to close gaps and penetrations in compartment walls and floors for cables, cable trays and ladders, cable bundles, and plastic or metallic pipe penetrations up to 125mm, providing up to 4 hours' fire resistance.
BUILD-UP
Grey sealant applied with a skeleton/sausage gun, palette knife or spatula; maintains integrity and insulation performance through masonry and plasterboard, and can be used alongside FB750 Intubatt coated batt.
KEY BENEFITS
Up to 4 hours' fire resistance, tested to EN 1366-3 and EN 1366-4. Versatile and easy to apply. Removes the need for separate pipe closers or wrap systems on plastic pipe penetrations. Tested in openings up to 600 x 600mm and linear gaps up to 25mm.
SPECIFICATION DATA
Colour: grey. Packaging: 310ml cartridges, 25 per box. Safety data sheet must be read and understood before use. This product was previously sold as Firetherm Intumastic HP; the manufacturer rebranded Firetherm to Nullifire in January 2021, with the formulation, testing and certification unchanged.
