R9005H is a high-temperature acrylic spray paint for renewing BBQs, fire pits, wood burners and similar equipment exposed to high heat.
WHERE IT'S USED
Suitable for exhausts, manifolds, car and domestic radiators, flues, heaters and ovens, and other high-temperature metal, ceramic or wood surfaces.
BUILD-UP
Silicon-based paint applied by aerosol. The surface must be passivated for at least two days before gradually bringing the object to 300C to stabilise the paint, after which it can be fired to the desired operating temperature.
KEY BENEFITS
Resists up to 600C continuous, with peaks to 800C. Suitable for iron, brass, aluminium, ceramic, plastic, UPVC and wood. Quick drying and can be overpainted. Suitable for professional and hobby use, indoors and outdoors.
SPECIFICATION DATA
Colour: black. Size: 400ml spray can. Appearance at room temperature (approx 20C): semi-glossy; full colour opacity develops once the object reaches operating temperature. Restriction: not for sale to persons under 16.
