Protecta ASF006 FR Board stops fire and smoke spreading through openings formed for multiple building services in fire-rated walls and floors, while maintaining acoustic performance.
WHERE IT'S USED
Fire barriers behind cladding and facades, internal partition walls, and linear seals between multiple substrates - classified for a wide range of building service penetrations.
BUILD-UP
High-density stone wool core over-coated with FR Coating on one or two sides, reducing stone wool permeability and blocking hot gas passage, cutting temperature rise on the unexposed side. Used on site together with FR Acrylic for sealing around services and the surrounding construction.
KEY BENEFITS
- Simple, quick installation, resists UV, humidity and frost once cured
- Easy to retrofit additional services after installation
- Combinable with Protecta FR Flexi Board to accommodate construction movement
- Halogen free with added fungicides
