Protecta PRO2FRST FR Service Transit maintains fire resistance in walls and floors breached by continuous cables and plastic pipes, using a graphite-based intumescent lining inside a high-temperature plastic tube.
WHERE IT'S USED
Installations where services may be inserted or replaced later, and tight spaces where a normal fire seal would be difficult to install at a later construction stage.
BUILD-UP
Circular plastic tube containing graphite intumescent lining, expanding on heating to seal spaces around cables and pipes. Can be cast in concrete, friction fitted, or inserted into larger apertures with FR Acrylic, FR Board or EX Mortar.
