The Illbruck TP601 Compriband E Foam Tape is a weather-retardant, impregnated, open-cell polyurethane foam tape, encapsulated in a tear-off polypropylene film with a bonding adhesive on one side.
WHERE IT'S USED
Used for external, recessed perimeter sealing of windows and doors, giving the same high performance as TP600. The tear-off film allows the foam to expand after installation, giving an effective weather seal. Maximum recommended joint width must not be exceeded to maintain driving rain resistance of at least 600 Pa; aperture surfaces must not be excessively rough.
BUILD-UP
A pre-compressed, impregnated open-cell polyurethane foam tape, encapsulated before use in a tear-off polypropylene film with a self-adhesive side for installation.
