DMA Cable Coating is a fire-resistant, flexible, water-based ablative coating designed to upgrade the fire resistance of electrical power and command cables.
WHERE IT'S USED
Used to protect long cable runs in industrial buildings, cables at risk of accidental ignition (such as in steelworks), and to upgrade emergency command cabling, suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
BUILD-UP
Water-based ablative coating applied by spray or brush to achieve a minimum mean dry film thickness of 1.6mm, remaining flexible once cured.
KEY BENEFITS
Independently fire tested to IEC 60331-11-21:1999 for cable circuit integrity, achieving over 30 minutes; also fire tested protecting a multi-cable bundle on a ladder to IEC 60331-3-22:2000 Category A; unaffected by oil, fungus and moisture; halogen and asbestos free; good adhesion to cables and supports.

Pack size: 5kg. Coating thickness: 1.6mm nominal DFT minimum. Volume solids: 60-62%. Specific gravity: 1.47-1.49g/cm3. Temperature resistance: 750C. Voltage rating: 1000V-rms for up to 47 minutes. Application: airless spray or brush, between +5C and +40C.
